At CREWFO we talk a lot about your “life after yachting”. What you will do when you finish on yachts, will you retire, run your property empire, get a job etc? Well, thanks to all of you the CREWFO team is growing.

Do you work on a yacht and have some time on your hands? Are thinking of coming home but are not sure what to do? Or, are you already home and a bit confused about all the options out there?

Maybe, just maybe you would fit in with us. This is what we are after. Deep Breath!

Ex or current crew member to join our team

The CREWFO team are looking for someone who has a few years yachting experience. You MUST know the industry, the people in it and, most importantly understand crew.

Skills:

These are the essentials;

You need to be competent on a computer

Understand and be good at using social media

Be a good communicator. We don’t mean texting either. You must be a good talker, happy to pick up the phone and able to get your point across in a polite and detailed way

You absolutely have to be enthusiastic, proactive, prepared to learn and willing to work hard.

Variety is the spice of life and so, like with many small companies we expect you to be adaptable. “That’s not my job” is not a phrase we use!

CREWFO is part of a larger group of companies and so your role will cover the other companies in the group. All of them you will be familiar with.

What will this job involve?

The role will start with social media. We want someone who can create engaging and exciting posts on social media for all the companies in the group. The team will work with you to make a social media plan and then it is up to you!

We would love it if you could also work on creating content. Blogs, stories and news for two of our sites. No technical skills required, you just need to be able to write a good story.

The rest very much depends on how much time you have.

If you still work on a yacht but have time to do social media for us then this is a 5-6 hours a week type job.

But, if you don’t work on a yacht this can be anything from 2 days per week to full time depending on your skills and enthusiasm.

The full time job will involve all of the following;

Social media

Writing blogs and content pieces for a couple of websites.

Getting involved in marketing, advertising and promotion

Supporting the sales team and potentially generating leads via social media platforms

Interacting with crew, both CREWFO members and customers of the other companies too.

Grow with us

As CREWFO is part of a small group of companies there is an opportunity to join us as we grow. The right person will show us their strengths and help the business move into the next stage of growth. As we grow, your responsibilities will too and your position within the larger company will potentially become senior.

The CREWFO team is committed to the growth of the company but also the development of everyone in it. We support our team in every aspect of their day to day work and ensure you will have all the tools you need to be successful.

Show me the money!

OK no problem. But before you get too excited remember this is not a yacht job. The job comes with our high expectations for you to succeed in helping the business grow. In return we will look after you and there is a great package and opportunity for the right person or people.

Money all depends on how much time you can commit to the role you want to fill. We expect total commitment and so if you get busy on charter in the summer and can’t commit to the time you promise us then please do not apply.

If you are looking for a new challenge or even something that could be your route out of yachting then get in touch. Complete the form below or simply email us with your CV and tell us about your skills and what you think you can do for us. Maybe you will be the next member of the CREWFO team!

We look forward to hearing from you.
